Egypt's Hurghada Named Third Best Nature Destination in the World
The stunning coastal city on Egypt’s Red Sea was awarded the prestigious title by global travel website Tripadvisor.
The global travel website Tripadvisor has named Hurghada, the Egyptian Red Sea city, as the third best nature destination in the world.
The Travelers’ Choice Awards 'Best of the Best' title honours the highest level of excellence in travel across various categories, including destinations, beaches, hotels, and restaurants. This prestigious accolade is awarded to those who receive a significant number of stellar reviews from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period. According to Tripadvisor, less than one percent of the eight million listings achieve this milestone.
Credited with having some of the best snorkelling and diving spots in the world, the coastal city of Hurghada owes its aquatic allure and its third-place ranking to its stunning beaches and vibrant coral reefs, trailing only Nepal’s Kathmandu and Vietnam’s Halong Bay.
An ideal destination for avid windsurfers, Hurghada lies in conveniently close proximity to the breathtaking Giftun Islands, the Eastern Arabian Desert and the old quarter of El Dahar.
