Qatar Airways Launches Flight to Saudi’s NEOM Bay
The airline introduced its first of two weekly flights from Doha’s Hamad International Airport to the novel city of NEOM, which marks its tenth destination within Saudi Arabia.
Qatar Airways has expanded its roster of regional flights to include two weekly flights with Airbus A320-214 from Doha’s Hamad International Airport to the new NEOM Bay Airport in Saudi Arabia.
The first of those two flights landed in NEOM on December 9th, rendering Qatar Airways the fourth airline to offer passenger flights to the novel ultra-modern city.
The inauguration of this new flight path marks the airline’s tenth destination within the Kingdom and is considered part of Saudi Arabia’s extensive expansion plan Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to solidify the Kingdom’s cultural, economic and social foothold in the region, while also ensuring its rapid transformation into a transportation hub.
