There's a New Address to Check Into Near the Louvre Abu Dhabi

Hotel room or your own island apartment? Bloom Arjaan by Rotana is bringing a little more space to Saadiyat Island.

Scene Traveller

There was a time when Saadiyat Island meant a museum visit and little else. These days, it's just as likely to involve a long lunch at Mamsha Al Saadiyat, an afternoon by the beach and an impromptu exhibition visit at one of the island's ever-growing collection of cultural institutions. Now, there's another addition to the island's steadily growing landscape: Bloom Arjaan by Rotana.

Set in the Marina District, the 217-key hotel doesn’t stick to a traditional hotel format, instead, it mixes rooms and suites with studios and one and two-bedroom apartments, making it just as suited to a weekend stay as it is to those settling in for a little longer.

There's a rooftop infinity pool for afternoons that don't require much of an agenda, complimentary access to Saadiyat Beach when they do, and even a pet-friendly Pawfect Apartment for travellers reluctant to leave four-legged companions behind. On the food front, Distrikt Social anchors the property with an all-day menu spanning local favourites and international dishes.

As Saadiyat continues to collect more reasons to linger, Bloom Arjaan by Rotana joins an island that is becoming a destination in its own right, where culture, coastline and everyday life are increasingly woven together.
