Spanning Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, the luxurious MSC Splendida’s ‘A Magical Middle East Cruise’ is a new seven-night winter experience that promises to take tourists around the Red Sea for a glimpse of the region’s seaside wonders.

With a capacity of 4,363 passengers, the 333-metre long ship will set sail from Egypt’s Safaga port to the Aqaba port in Jordan, where guests will be able to disembark and visit the Wadi Rum protectorate, as well as the legendary city of Petra, which was famously carved into a sandstone cliff.

The next destination is Saudi Arabia, where passengers will be able to tour the city of Al-Ula, and get a taste of the Yanbu region’s local culture. Finally, they will return to Egypt and disembark at Ain El Sokhna, where guests will be taken away to Hurghada for a coastal city escape, before leaving for Luxor to explore the city’s countless historical sites. The trip will end at Cairo, where guests will be inundated with centuries of culture, as well as the opportunity to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza.

The cruise includes an entertainment programme, all meals, access to a pool, a gym, and sun decks overlooking the Red Sea’s crystal clear waters. In terms of payment, MSC Splendida offers four categories, ranging from EUR 699 to EUR 2,399  with the lowest being a room inside the cruise and the highest being a suite with its own private balcony.
