Luxury travel company Roam is launching a nomad-style camp in the mountainous region of Taif in Saudi Arabia, offering guests a back-to-nature stay in bell tents on the eastern slopes of the Sarawat Mountains this May.

The accommodations will feature outdoor music systems, yoga mats, and board games, and outdoor activities such as quad biking, archery, hiking, kite-flying, with the spellbinding nighttime views to be enjoyed through group stargazing. Expert astronomers will guide the stargazing sessions.

Moving in tune with the changing seasons, the camp will relocate every eight to 12 weeks, providing travellers with access to largely undiscovered regions of Saudi Arabia. Roam's first tourism offering will allow guests to experience unique activities and local businesses, such as rose harvesting in Taif or banana plantation farming in Al Baha. Travellers will also have the opportunity to book tours, accommodation, aviation, and concierge services.

Roam will work with locals and small businesses to offer guests experiences that are unique to each locale. Founded by Saudi Arabia’s Cool Inc and luxury yachting company Pelorus, the company offers travellers a chance to experience glamping under the stars in Saudi Arabia while also supporting local businesses and discovering undiscovered regions of the country.
