Beaches Across MENA Where Men Are Absolutely Not Allowed

From boho-luxe pools in Abu Dhabi to Beirut's cabaret energy and Jeddah's pier-side yoga. This is the MENA region's best women-only beaches where the girls let loose.

All the girlies know that the real fun always happens behind closed doors, when our defenses go down and the walls go up, protected from every (evil) eye. Add the sun and the sea, and suddenly, you’re in sartorial heaven surrounded by colourful bikinis made up of sugar, spice, and everything nice. The vibes are sprinkled with pixie dust in the MENA region’s women’s only beaches, and so…take your pick. Kai Beach — Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE On Fridays, an only-female exclusive day, you can grab the girls and enter a world of barefoot boho-luxe extravagance at Kai Beach. The white strip of sand clashes beautifully with the emerald Arabian Gulf waters, where you may even be lucky enough to flirt with a cheeky bottlenose dolphin.  La Femme — North Coast, Egypt  La Femme has been drawing in the banat of Egypt’s North Coast since 2005, and everyday is a party once you step through its gates. Veiled and unveiled women alike start to peel off their layers, hit the water, and dance like nobody's watching to the best of Nancy Ajram and Sherine.  Sharjah Ladies Club — Sharjah, UAE While a full day by the beach is tempting enough for you to stay, Sharjah Ladies Club knows every woman deserves far more than that. Founded back in 1982 by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, it's an empire of a beach club, with indoor and outdoor size pools, an ice rink, tennis courts, and a hammam all daring you to leave the sand behind. La Maison d’Obhur Beach — Jeddah, Saudi Arabia  A coastal city like Jeddah wasn’t going to miss a chance to provide its women with their own tropical sanctuary. La Maison d’Obhur is all about relaxation, personalised services, and the Red Sea’s endless blues. And if you’re one for a morning stretch, then you’ll be glad to know that you can join their daily pier-side yoga before the sun gets too ambitious. Simaisma Women's Beach — Al Daayen, Qatar You might already know that 30 kilometres north of Doha is a strip of sand everyone migrates to the second they get the chance, but what makes it better is that Simaisma Beach has a section made exclusively for the girls. It offers a serene atmosphere that’s very much no-frills and nature-first for the city girl that needs the world to go silent for even just a day. Lüa Ladies Beach Resort & Spa — Khaldeh, Lebanon Lua Ladies Beach couldn’t miss an opportunity to bring Beirut fun to the shore with blasting music, poolside lounging, and the kind of cabaret energy the Lebanese do better than anyone. And it’s ridiculously luxurious, of course, blending traditional elements with modern design and a world-class spa fit for a Sultana. La Sirena Beach Lounge — Muscat, Oman Somewhere between the rugged Al Hajar Mountain range and the Sea of Oman is La Sirena Beach lounge, sitting within Muscat’s Bustan Palace. Walk past the spa and down a flower-lined staircase, and you'll land somewhere that feels worlds away from the rest of the hotel; with newly-renovated cabanas facing the open sea, mountains at your back, and not a man in sight.
