You will soon be able to take a low-cost flight from Egypt’s capital city Cairo to Saudi’s heritage capital, Jazan, via Air Arabia.

Low-cost airline Air Arabia is taking to the skies with a brand new route that promises to connect two of the Middle East's major cities with greater ease. The airline has announced the launch of direct flights between Cairo, Egypt and Jazan in Saudi Arabia, the kingdom’s heritage capital (and the world’s premium exporter of Arabica coffee).

Starting April 9th, 2023, passengers will be able to fly between Cairo International Airport and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport with two weekly flights.

With the launch of this latest route, Jazan becomes the 11th destination that Air Arabia Egypt flies to in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Tabuk, and Taif. Air Arabia operates a fleet of modern Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR aircraft, which are considered the most advanced and best-selling single-aisle aircraft in the world.
