Dubai Design Week Showcases Next Generation of Sustainable Design

A window into the Middle East’s buzzing art and design scene, the 2022 edition of Dubai Design Week is set to engage, inspire and provoke discussions amongst budding designers and respective enthusiasts alike. 

Dubbed ‘Design with Impact’, this year’s expo brims with activations that focus on designing for a sustainable future. Taking place at Dubai Design District’s Waterfront terrace from November 9th to November 12th, this year’s edition spotlights a range of disciplines - including architecture, product design, interiors and multimedia - that heavily rely on the range of artisans at hand in order to amplify their significance.

Humble in composition, the installations have and continue to serve as a focal point of Dubai Design Week over the years. The interactive works displayed act as stepping stones towards art utilising more unconventional and eco-friendly materials within the industry.

An amalgamation of contemporary design and a dynamic display of top-tier regional and international brands (furniture, lighting, rugs, materials and home accessories brands included),  Downtown Design 2022 is shaping up to be a place for discovery, inspiration and a propeller of  creative commerce.
