Egypt Aquatics Festival is Splashing Into Hurghada This May

Running from May 8th to May 15th, the Egypt Aquatics Festival will invite the world's top swimmers to compete in Hurghada.

World Aquatics, a global federation recognised by the International Olympic Committee to administer competitions in water sports around the world, has announced the addition of the Egypt Aquatics Festival to the 2023 international aquatics season. Running from May 8th to May 15th, the Egypt Aquatics Festival will invite the world's top artistic swimmers, open water swimmers and beach water polo teams to compete along the shores of Hurghada!

On May 8th to the 9th, the Egypt Aquatics Festival will begin with the World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup, which will feature men’s and women’s 10km and 4x1500m relay events.

Later, on May 12th to the 15th, the World Aquatics World Beach Games Qualifier will see some of the most competitive men's and women's national teams for beach water polo compete for the final three spots for the event at the ANOC World Beach Games Bali 2023. 

Finally, on May 13th to the 15th, the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup will round out the dramatic offering of athleticism due to take place by the Red Sea.
