Egypt's Biggest Waterpark ‘Neverland’ Splashes Into Hurghada

The world-famous King Cobra slide is the centrepiece to Egypt’s newest - and biggest - waterpark on the shores of the Red Sea.

Scene Traveller

For many winter visitors to Egypt, their vacation is not just an opportunity to explore the country’s museums, temples, pyramids and other such timeless treasures. It is an opportunity to escape the cold northern winds of winter towards a more temperate environment, where rain and snow are blessed rarities, and a day at the beach feels just right any day of the year. And if it’s seaside excitement you’re looking for, you may want to seriously consider making your way to Hurghada by the Red Sea, where Egypt’s biggest waterpark, Neverland, just opened.

The Neverland Waterpark features a replica of one of the most impressive and popular waterslides in the world, the King Cobra slide. With over nine slides, there’s something for visitors of all sizes and ages.

Located near central Hurghada’s Senzo Mall, the waterpark is part of ‘Neverland City’, a resort that is currently being built by Egypt-based hoteliers Albatros Group. The resort features a hotel, sets of townhouses and chalets, a theatre, and a slew of restaurants and cafes. While the resort-city isn’t entirely operational yet, the residential areas are with available accommodations, along with the waterpark itself.
