Etihad Launches Flights From Abu Dhabi to Canada's Calgary

Etihad Airways has just launched four weekly non-stop flights connecting Abu Dhabi to Canada's oil and gas capital of Calgary—the only direct route from Western Canada to the UAE. Starting November 3rd, 2026, flights will depart Calgary on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with the journey taking roughly 14 hours on Etihad’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Fares for Canadian travellers start at USD 1,199 one-way.
