NEOM, the USD 500 billion megacity project and one of the world's most ambitious sustainable urban developments, is set to welcome its first visitors early next year with the opening of its luxury island in the Red Sea.

Marriott International's Autograph Collection Hotels and Luxury Collection will be the inaugural resorts on the island, offering travellers an unparalleled experience of luxury and indulgence. The Autograph Collection Hotels property will be a unique resort with a futuristic design, offering 66 rooms and suites, including one and two-bedroom villas. The boutique-sized property promises a one-of-a-kind experience with several dining options, a children's club, and a luxury spa.

The Luxury Collection beach resort, on the other hand, boasts 70 luxury rooms and suites, including one, two, three, and four-bedroom villas, all equipped with private pools. Located in the central marina district of Sindalah - a luxury destination that gives visitors unrivaled access to the region's 2,000 marine species, 600 of which are endemic to the Red Sea - the properties will offer guests several dining options, leisure facilities, and meticulously curated guest experiences.

The island is part of the larger Neom project, a sustainable urban development initiative, planned by Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The project aims to create a futuristic city that embodies sustainability, innovation, and luxury.
