Along the northern coasts of Qatar, a new destination for kitesurfers forever chasing that magic breeze has emerged. Once a humble fishing village, this new resort - dubbed Fuwairit Kite Beach - has pulled up the sails, declaring itself the global home for kitesurfers everywhere. With ideal wind conditions creating an absurdly long kitesurfing season lasting from November to June, Fuwairit Kite Beach boasts aquamarine waves and extensive facilities for casual and pro kitesurfers alike.

A full-fledged kitesurfing school offers an array of classes and programs, with three levels depending on kitesurfing experience and group or private classes. Fuwairit Kite Beach also provides guests with access to a variety of equipment, and - if they would rather bring their own - there’s a storage facility on ground.

The kitesurfing destination is also making sure we get our fair share of relaxation, just to balance out our inner adrenaline junkie with their offshore activities like morning yoga classes, hardcore sessions at the gym, a dip into their state-of-the-art pools, or a laid-back movie night in the outdoor cinema.

And while kitesurfing is the main event, they’ve also got courts for volleyball, Padel, and beach football. The spot is as picturesque and vibrant as it gets, with interiors covered in bright murals and graffiti matching its adventurous vibe.

The kitesurfing haven has a variety of packages accommodating those looking for an extended vacation or a one-day stay. Their day pass rates start from USD 31 per person, and the ‘Hotel Stay plus Kitesurf Voucher Package’ start from USD 169 per night for double rooms. Prices also increase depending on the intensity and duration of kitesurfing classes.
