New hotels are popping up on the daily in Dubai, leaving visitors with the indecisiveness that comes from having too many options. Luxurious beachfront party resorts, upscale infinity-pool-inclusive city-centre hotels, family-friendly dwellings and fitness-focused accommodations – Dubai seems to be trying to have it all and then some.

With choices being as abundant as they are, we’ve decided to step up and help you sift through the vast sea of skyscrapers. So, if you’re wondering what’s on this year’s hospitality docket in this ever-evolving city, we’ve curated a list of lavish lodgings that have recently opened or will be opening in 2024 just for you. Hopefully, we’ll help cure your option overload, but there’s a big chance we might just make it worse.

The Biltmore Hotel Villas – Open

This collection of 20 five-star hotel villas – including three-, four- and five-bedroom options – is conveniently located close to the Mall of the Emirates. In addition to essential amenities like eateries, a spa, and a gym, this hotel has some extra enticing features such as a private swimming pool, a cinema and the option to request a dedicated butler and private chef. 

Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay – Open

An IHG hotel, this luxurious space is situated less than four kilometres away from The Dubai Fountain, which you can look it in awe from a panoramic sun deck. The hotel also offers lodgings with an outdoor pool, free private parking, a fitness facility, and a shared lounge. 

The Lana – Open

One of the more opulent openings of the year is The Lana in Business Bay, which boasts 225 rooms with views of the Burj Khalifa. Eight new dining and drinking establishments have been added to the luxury hotel, along with a spa by renowned fashion brand Dior. 

One Za’abeel – Open

Apart from the UAE's longest infinity pool, which provides stunning views of Dubai's contrasting landscapes, this sky-high oasis is also home to a breathtaking rooftop, crowning the two towers connected by The Link – the world's longest cantilever. 

Address Grand Creek Harbour – Open

Situated on the banks of Dubai Creek, amidst the city's ancient waterways, this is the first five-star hotel in Dubai Creek Harbour. Featuring an infinity pool with views of the famous Burj Khalifa across the coast, this luxurious hotel offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

FIVE LUXE – Open

Brought to you by the same company that created the party hotels FIVE Palm Jumeirah and FIVE Jumeirah Village, the newest addition to the portfolio – FIVE LUXE – will feature the infamous Lío Ibiza club, slated to open in 2025, along with various dining options, including the Paradiso bar, ranked as one of the best bars in the world.

Mama Shelter – Opening Late 2024

With a soon-to-open sizable pool deck and rooftop skyline bar overlooking Business Bay, Mama Shelter is a unique, budget-friendly hotel brand hailing from the French metropolis – Paris. The hotel will include 197 funky-styled rooms, a speakeasy bar, a pizza place and an all-day eatery. 

Six Senses The Palm – Opening Late 2024

Set to feature an array of sustainably-driven restaurants and bars, a gym, a squash court and a dedicated private beach, the 60-key resort will include a signature Six Senses Spa, a library, a kids club and a longevity centre.
