Luxury Trailers Are Setting Up Camp in Sharjah’s Kalba Valleys
A new eco-retreat is setting up shop in Sharjah’s Kalba mountain valleys with Nomad, a collection of solar-powered off-grid luxury trailers.

Later this year, Kalba’s mountain valleys on Sharjah’s east coast will play host to a new kind of escape. Nomad, a retreat of 20 solar-powered trailers, is set to open near the Kalba Nature Reserve, offering stays designed for digital detoxing - no Wi-Fi, no artificial light, just starlit skies and quiet seclusion.
The project joins the Sharjah Collection, the network of boutique eco-retreats that already stretches from desert dunes to coastal mangroves. With Nomad, the portfolio expands its reach into off-grid living, reflecting the growing appeal of sustainable travel and the rising demand for wellness-led getaways.
For travellers, it means Sharjah’s landscape can now be experienced in yet another register: mountain air, minimalist cabins, and nights that belong entirely to the stars.
