Cruising giant Uniworld has announced their newest trip offering, and it's quite literally the ‘World’s Most Exotic River and Land Journey’. Starting in Egypt and making its way to India and Southeast Asia, the 43-day-long trip sails through some of the most awe-spiring historical sites on the planet.

The latest cruise will see passengers combine cruises on three of Uniworld’s Super Ships, setting sail towards the Nile in Egypt, India’s Golden Triangle and Ganges River, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the Mekong river, and is available exclusively for the UK market.

The trip starts with five nights in Cairo at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo followed by a one-week Nile cruise on Super Ship Sphinx to discover classical Egypt. In total, cruisers spend 13 days in Egypt before heading to New Delhi. Guests then fly on to India to visit the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, before boarding a river cruise on the Ganges onboard Ganges Voyager II.

The final part of the voyage combines Vietnam, Cambodia and a seven-night cruise on Mekong Jewel, including an excursion to see the Angkor Wat temple complex at Siem Reap.

The scheduled excursions, which include a myriad of ancient temples and natural quests, are simply awesome, in the literal sense: stunning, historic, larger-than-life reminders of some of the mightiest civilisations in history.

A guide caters to each of the groups staying on board throughout the journey, and leads all the visits, which means you learn an incredible amount about the local history and culture.

When you aren’t touring the sites, those peaceful hours of sailing offer a much-needed respite from an onslaught of mind-boggling information and breath-taking sights every day.

The journey runs from January 7th to February 18th in 2023, with prices starting from £18,885 to  £26,985 per person depending on preferred cabin type. The cost of the trip is inclusive of flights, transfers, excursions, meals, hotel stays, and beverages.
