10 Global Cities You’ll Soon Be Able to Jet Off to With Etihad
Some of these routes—Atlanta, Medan, Phnom Penh, and Chiang Mai—will be exclusive, offering unmatched direct flights from the UAE.
Etihad Airways has unveiled its biggest expansion yet with 10 new destinations set to take off from Abu Dhabi starting in July 2025. From the vibrant streets of Atlanta to the cultural charms of Hanoi, these new routes will connect travelers to key cities across Asia, Africa, and the United States.
The UAE’s national carrier is kicking off with four weekly flights to Atlanta on July 2nd, 2025.
By September 2025, Etihad will begin daily services to Taipei (seven weekly flights from September 7th) while new connections to Medan (three weekly flights) and Phnom Penh (five weekly flights) will start on October 2nd and 3rd, respectively. From October 9th, 2025, Krabi will join the network with seven weekly flights.
As the year progresses, Etihad will also introduce new routes to Tunis (three weekly flights from November 1st), Chiang Mai (four weekly flights from November 3rd), Hong Kong (five weekly flights from November 3rd), Hanoi (six weekly flights from November 3rd), and Algiers (four weekly flights from November 7th).
Notably, some of these routes—Atlanta, Medan, Phnom Penh, and Chiang Mai—will be exclusive to the UAE, offering direct flights that are currently unmatched in the region.
