Saudi Arabia has just announced its plans to develop a private island in the Red Sea, meant to host travellers onboard cruise ships.
Set to be able to receive visitors by December, the island’s facilities will include a welcome centre, a dining area, a beach club and private villas able to accommodate 2,000 guests. Additionally, guests will be able to engage in a range of aquatic and coastal activities.
The development of this island is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to create a thriving cruise ship industry, in order to further its touristic potential.
