AECOM Awarded NEOM International Airport Project Management Services

American multinational infrastructure firm AECOM has been awarded the project management services for NEOM International Airport. The firm is set to provide project management consulting services, design, master planning and construction services through a multi-year contract.

The futuristic city’s airport is set to launch in 2024 and will include Biometric check-ins replacing standard departure gates, in-seat gaming, and 6G Wi-Fi and visa-free travel. With NEOM positioned to be an ecotourism and futuristic destination, the new airport will operate ahead of the official launch of several NEOM-based resorts.
