Emirates Adds Flights From Dubai to Uganda, Ethiopia & South Africa
These new additions will raise the total number of weekly flights connecting African destinations to Dubai to 161.

Emirates Airlines has announced that it is significantly increasing flight frequencies to three major African cities in response to the rising demand for travel to the continent.
Starting January 1st, 2025, Emirates will offer daily flights between Dubai and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, while flights to Entebbe, Uganda, will be upgraded from five times a week to a daily service. In South Africa, Emirates will introduce a fourth daily flight to Johannesburg beginning March 1st, 2025, raising the total number of weekly flights connecting African destinations to Dubai to 161.
