Flydubai Launches Four New Flight Routes to Europe
Switzerland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are now part of the airline’s 43-destination network.
Demand for airline connections between Dubai and various European cities has been rapidly soaring and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. The number of Europeans flocking to Dubai, seeking refuge from the chilly winter, is only increasing as the snowy season gets frostier and frostier. Meanwhile, denizens of Dubai are looking to spend the scorching hot summer months under a much gentler sun.
In response to this rising trend, flydubai has announced four new flight routes between Dubai and select European cities, adding four new countries to its list of possible destinations.
Flydubai’s network now covers three Baltic states – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania – with thrice-weekly flights to Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. Flights from Dubai to these destinations will take between seven and nine hours, with the inaugural trips scheduled for October 12th.
Additionally, flydubai is introducing four weekly flights to Basel, Switzerland – the fourth new destination – lasting around seven hours, and commencing operations on August 2nd.
The Dubai-based carrier’s ever expanding network now covers 43 destinations in 21 countries, solidifying its position as one of the most competitive airlines connecting east and west.
Flydubai has also announced ‘code-share’ on these new routes, which means that other airlines can include these flights on their schedules, enhancing connection opportunities for travellers on non-direct trips.
