Occupancy rates in the coastal city’s hotels have officially reached 100% capacity through the end of August, reflecting a significant increase in visitor numbers in this rising tourism destination. This surge includes a mix of Egyptian nationals, Arab tourists, and other international guests.

Taking place in August, the ‘New Alamein Festival’ – with its diverse cultural offerings including music, theater, and sports – has attracted a broad audience from across the region and beyond, helping to showcase the city's brand-new infrastructure. Besides state-of-the-art amenities, the city’s focus on transportation, including the Alamein Airport and Alexandria’s Borg El Arab International Airport, has helped put it on the summer map.
