New ‘Grand Tours’ Visa Will Allow Entry to All Six GCC Countries
This new multi-entry visa is predicted to be in place by the end of the year.
Throughout the region, travel agencies are gearing up to introduce Gulf-based tour packages in anticipation of the upcoming launch of the unified GCC tourist visa – GCC 'Grand Tours'.
Anticipated to be in place by the end of the year, the multi-entry visa will be similar to a Schengen visa, granting access to all six Gulf countries for up to 30 days and further amplifying the region’s rising travel and tourism sectors in the process.
As globetrotters increasingly mix business and leisure travel, this unified tourist visa could not have come at a better time. Some agencies have even started working on comprehensive tour packages that will include accommodation, travel arrangements, and sightseeing opportunities for travellers wishing to hop from one alluring Gulf country to the next.
With packages predicted to cost anywhere between AED 1,500 and AED 5,000+, travellers will be able to take their pick and visit two or three GCC countries in one fell swoop!
