Saudi's AlUla Reveals Its First Global Tourism Campaign
The historic city’s inaugural campaign features short immersive videos and a film by a renowned French cinematographer.
Unveiled at launch events in several major global cities – including Dubai, New York, Paris, and Shanghai – ‘Forever Revitalising’ marks AlUla’s inaugural global campaign, aiming to promote the evolving city as a cultural and conscious tourism destination of rich history and picturesque natural surroundings.
The data-driven campaign, which features short immersive videos and a two-and-a-half-minute film by celebrated French cinematographer Bruno Aveillan, accentuates AlUla’s dedication to sustainable and responsible tourism practices with a focus on quality experiences over mass tourism.
"Thanks to this campaign, we can open up even more dialogue on the international stage and communicate the full depth of AlUla's beauty, assets and ambition,” Phillip Jones, Director of Tourism of Royal Commission for AlUla, tells SceneTraveller. “The best is yet to come, and we extend an invitation to everyone to be part of this extraordinary journey."
An ever-evolving and thriving travel destination, AlUla aspires to host over one million visitors by 2030, generate new job opportunities for local communities and make significant contributions to the Kingdom’s GDP.
