Ciel Dubai Marina Is Officially the World’s Tallest Hotel

Recognised by Guinness World Records as the world's tallest hotel, Ciel Dubai Marina houses over 1,000 rooms and suites, all oriented toward sweeping views.

Rising 377 metres above the waterfront, Ciel Dubai Marina, Vignette Collection by IHG, has officially claimed the title of the world’s tallest hotel, according to Guinness World Records. Opened in 2024, the hotel houses over 1,000 rooms and suites, all oriented toward sweeping views of the Marina, Palm Jumeirah, and the Arabian Gulf. At its upper levels, guests will find one of Dubai’s highest infinity pools, alongside observation decks that turn the city’s skyline into a slow, cinematic panorama rather than a blur. Public spaces are spread vertically—restaurants, lounges, and wellness areas rising with the building—creating a stay that feels deliberately elevated rather than simply tall. Positioned in the heart of Dubai Marina, the hotel places travellers within walking distance of the promenade, beaches, and yacht-lined waterways, while offering a vantage point that quite literally rises above it all. With its Guinness title now official, Ciel Dubai Marina joins Dubai’s long tradition of using hospitality as a way to reframe how the city is experienced—from the ground up, and now, from far above.
