Oman Air Launches Direct Flights to Russia’s Sochi Starting July 2026

Oman Air is expanding its international network with the launch of a new direct route connecting Muscat to Sochi, beginning July 2nd, 2026. Operating once weekly year-round by a Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft, the new service offers travellers direct access to one of Russia’s most popular seaside destinations. Set along the shores of the Black Sea, Sochi is known for its coastal promenades, subtropical climate, and proximity to the Caucasus Mountains, making it a year-round destination for both beach escapes and alpine retreats. The addition of Sochi builds on Oman Air’s existing Russia network, which already includes up to 11 weekly flights between Muscat and Moscow, alongside seasonal charter services connecting Moscow with Salalah.
