Live Out Your Equestrian Fantasies on North Coast at The Beach Stable'
‘The Beach Stable’ is the first horseback riding service on the North Coast that lets you bring your equestrian fantasies to life.
Imagine the most romantic scene you could possibly think of, and invariably you will find yourself horseback riding across a beach, the fresh breeze blowing through your hair, the sounds of galloping hooves drumming over the gentle whispers of the sea waves as they reach out and caress the shore. In Egypt this scene is no mere dream. In El-Alamein, the northernmost city of the Matrouh governorate, ‘The Beach Stable’ is the first horseback riding service on the North Coast that lets you bring your equestrian fantasies to life.
The Beach Stable was founded by 25 year old mechanical engineer Mohamed el Saadany in the summer of 2022, who discovered his passion for horseback riding while living in the UAE.
“The idea for The Beach Stable came to me when one of my friends saw my Instagram story and asked me where I was horseback riding,” el Saadany tells SceneTraveller. “She was super bummed when she found out it wasn’t in Egypt. Then it hit me. Why not bring beach horseback riding here?”
At The Beach Stable, you can rent one of six horses and ride along Matrouh’s Beach 5, with trainers and handymen on site to guide you throughout the experience. If that doesn’t make you feel like the protagonist in a coming-of-age film about a girl and her horse, you would even be able to take a dip in the Mediterranean Sea with them.
It costs EGP 500 to ride a horse for 30 minutes, and EGP 700 per hour. Their sunset and sunrise rides are available for EGP 600 at 30 minutes, and EGP 800 per hour. They’re available all through the week, with no change in prices during national holidays and Eid. They can be booked by contacting them on Instagram at @thebeachstable, or calling or WhatsApping them at 01000616660.
