AD: Eid at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza Is All About Food

Celebrate Eid Al Adha at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, where Nile views, poolside rooms, Levantine and Italian dining, spa rituals, and slow mornings shape a city staycation in quiet luxury.

Scene Traveller

For Eid Al Adha, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza is leaning into one of the capital’s most underrated pleasures: staying in when everyone else is trying to escape. Perched above the action of the city, yet sitting along the Nile itself, the hotel’s festive programme is all about fluttering between poolside brunches, lazy lunches, spa treatments, and mornings that ask nothing of you except to choose your book wisely.

At the centre of it all sits the hotel’s fifth floor terrace: sunny, leafy, and strangely disconnected from the noise below. And if you’re lucky enough to stay in one of the Pierre-Yves Rochon-designed terrace suites, they open directly onto the space, making it dangerously easy to spend an entire day orbiting between your room and the pool without ever needing to properly “go out.”

Then comes the eating, which, during Eid, naturally becomes half the experience. At Zitouni, it’s all about Egyptian breakfasts, long family-style lunches, a special Arafat Day buffet on May 26th, and a total of four all-day brunches throughout the long-stretching holiday. On the upper deck, you’ll find Lebanese restaurant Byblos, where renowned Chef Wissam Kayrouz has prepared a Levantine menu that feels made for those post-sunset Eid dinners that slowly dissolve into conversation. But if you’re looking for indulgence in a different tongue, then head to Rivieria for handmade pasta, seafood spreads, and seasonal plates in a Nile-side atmosphere. Finally, as Eid comes to a slow end on May 29th, you’ll find a special Dim Sum Brunch at 8 Restaurant, offering Cantonese cuisine starting as early as 8 AM.

Naturally, after these successive feasts, you’ll need some respite. At which point, you might want to visit the hotel’s spa or indoor pool, where you can—and should—treat yourself to a luxurious Cleopatra bath, massages, and facials. Or, if you’re feeling more adventurous, step outside the hotel’s doors and you’ll find Nile feluccas, local art galleries, and cheeky boutiques for when you absolutely need a new skirt. Once done, head back to the hotel and just retreat back into your duvet while Cairo flickers right outside your window.

If any of this sounds like your kind of Eid getaway, definitely reach out to +20 (2) 2791 7000 or email reservations.cai@fourseasons.com to book your staycation slot before the suites run out.
