Inside the World’s First Precision Wellness Destination in Dubai
The AED 5 billion project brings together hospitality, clinical care, and luxury living.
The developers behind Sharjah’s buzziest communities—Aljada and the forested Masaar—are now setting their sights on Dubai, and they’re bringing a whole new kind of luxury with them: Akala, the world’s first precision wellness destination.

Set to open in 2029 between Downtown Dubai and DIFC, Akala is made up of two sleek towers filled with wellness-focused residences and a hotel. Think smart lighting that syncs with your circadian rhythm, purified air and water, in-home spa treatments, and a concierge who knows your health goals better than you do.

The 534 residences range from one-bedroom apartments to a multi-storey penthouse dubbed The Observatory, with sweeping views of the Burj Khalifa.

But what sets Akala apart is what’s happening below. The development will house its own spa, hydrotherapy pools, private training pods, mindfulness studios, and a high-performance clinic offering everything from diagnostics to stem cell therapy.

Though this flagship is the first of its kind, Akala is just the beginning. The brand is already eyeing cities across the Middle East, Europe, and Australia for global expansion.
