9 Luxury Hotels Opening in Saudi Arabia's Diriyah Gate
Saudi’s long-coveted UNESCO world heritage site, Diriyah Gate, will soon be home to a slew of luxury hotels.
With over 300 years of history, Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Gate has been revived as a cultural centre just 20 minutes away from the heart of the kingdom’s capital. Amidst its iconic mud-brick buildings, where the First House of the Al Saud family once called home, a flurry of international hotels is set to open their doors, including some of the most glamorous and opulent hotels in the world.
Aman Hotel
Swiss-based Aman Resorts will open two exclusive hotels in the picturesque area of Wadi Safar. Aman Hotel features 78 opulent rooms, 34 branded residences, and exceptional facilities such as a spa and top-rated restaurants.
Armani Hotel
The Italian luxury house is expanding their hospitality offerings with 70 luxurious rooms that blend traditional Middle Eastern elements with modern elegance and sophistication, as well as a taste of the finest Italian and international cuisine at its two acclaimed restaurants.
Janu Hotel
Janu Hotel offers 120 luxurious rooms and suites, along with multiple dining options that serve the finest local and international cuisine. Its location near the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Turaif, allows guests to easily explore the rich history and cultural heritage of the region.
Anantara Hotel
Luxury Thai hotel Anantara, which has already been stealing hearts in Doha, Oman and Abu Dhabi, will grace Diriyah Gate with its sophisticated style and eco-friendly ethos.
Fauchon Hotel
Fauchon Hotel will bring the elegance of the French brand Fauchon to Diriyah Gate with 80 rooms and suites, a cafe and spa, and an ethereal rooftop outdoor pool.
Four Seasons
Four Seasons is an ultra-luxurious hotel with 150 rooms and suites that offer stunning views of the surrounding historic mud-brick city of Diriyah. The hotel also features numerous meeting and event venues, making it an ideal destination for business travellers.
Marriott’s Luxury Hotels
Marriott's Luxury Hotels will have two opulent properties at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Turaif, featuring 114 rooms and 27 suites, all-day-dining restaurants, a café, and juice bar.
The Chedi Hotel
The Chedi Hotel, located in the mythical Wadi Safar area, offers an array of luxurious amenities for a relaxing staycation, with 162 rooms and suites, a signature spa, multiple dining options, and a serene outdoor pool.
