A Resort With Yoga, Beaches & Villas to Open on UAE's Al Marjan Island
The resort will feature a wellness centre with a yoga studio, gym, banya, and hammam, alongside social spaces including a mixology bar, two restaurants, and a nightlife venue.
Across the waters of Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island, a new resort is taking shape: Janu Al Marjan Island. Slated to open in late 2028, the 132-room property will focus on wellness, social spaces, and human connection—an approach reflected in its name, Janu, which means “soul” in Sanskrit. Guests will be able to begin their day with yoga overlooking the Arabian Gulf, take a swim in the pool, or stroll along the private beach. The resort will also feature a wellness centre with a yoga studio, gym, banya, and hammam, alongside social spaces including a mixology bar, two restaurants, and a nightlife venue. Janu will sit across from Wynn Al Marjan Island, the UAE’s first integrated resort, opening in 2027 with 1,530 rooms, a marina, 22 restaurants, and a sprawling poolscape. Together, the two developments are helping to shape Al Marjan Island into a growing lifestyle destination.
