Air Arabia Abu Dhabi Launches Direct Flights to Amman City Airport

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has expanded its network in the Levant with the launch of a new direct service to Amman City Airport, marking the carrier’s second connection to the Jordanian capital. The budget airline, a subsidiary of the Sharjah-based Air Arabia group, will operate the route three times per week from its hub at Zayed International Airport. The new flights offer passengers from Abu Dhabi additional flexibility when travelling to Jordan, complementing the airline’s existing services to Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport. Inaugural ceremonies were held at both ends of the route, attended by airline representatives and airport officials. Upon arrival in Amman, the debut flight was greeted with a traditional water cannon salute – a ceremonial hallmark of new aviation milestones. The warm welcome underscored growing ties between the UAE and Jordan, as well as rising demand for affordable point-to-point travel between the two capitals.
