EasyJet Launches Year-Round Flights from London Luton to Cairo
The London-Cairo route is expected to launch this fall, with thrice-weekly service from London to Giza.
Cairo will soon be the latest addition to British low-cost carrier easyJet’s international flight network. Already operating in both Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, the London-Cairo route is expected to launch on October 31st, 2023, with thrice-weekly service from London Luton Airport to Sphinx International Airport in Giza. Flights have been scheduled weekly for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays as the company’s year-round service.
Easyjet remains the UK’s largest airline for travel to Egypt. From August to December 2023, easyJet will operate the third-highest number of flight routes of any airline in the world at 1,023, with American Airlines (1,206) and Ryanair (2,567) coming in second and first respectively.
