Emirates Turns Its London Flights Into a Wimbledon Experience
From strawberries and cream at 40,000 feet to Centre Court streamed live in the sky, Emirates is going all in for Wimbledon season.
As the Official Airline Partner of Wimbledon, Emirates is rolling out a tournament-inspired experience across flights between Dubai and the United Kingdom from June 29th to July 12th, 2026.
Drawing inspiration from Wimbledon's beloved strawberries-and-cream tradition, Emirates is introducing strawberry-themed desserts across every cabin. First Class passengers can enjoy honey cake layered with strawberry compote and clotted cream, while Business Class and Premium Economy feature a strawberry tart with pistachio sauce and strawberry yoghurt. In Economy, it's a cream cheese mousse topped with strawberry compote and hazelnut streusel. The A380 Onboard Lounge also serves the tournament's iconic strawberries and cream, alongside a classic Pimm's and tennis-themed pastries, while Emirates Lounges in Dubai and across the UK are offering seasonal favourites including fish and chips and coronation chicken throughout the tournament.
Matches from The Championships will also be streamed live on board via Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra through Emirates' ice entertainment system, alongside its extensive catalogue of films, TV shows, and music. First Class passengers will also receive exclusive Emirates-branded Wimbledon 2026 towels created by Christy, the tournament's Official Towel Supplier.
The celebrations continue on the ground, too. At Wimbledon, Emirates is inviting visitors to step into an Emirates x Wimbledon photo activation, where scanning their ticket unlocks instant prizes, with one lucky winner taking home a holiday for two to the Maldives through Emirates Holidays, subject to terms and conditions. The airline is also bringing the tournament into the digital world with virtual Emirates tennis courts and the Emirates Cup at Wimbledon on Roblox, while Emirates cabin crew will be on site throughout the Championships to welcome and engage with visitors.
