InterContinental Hotel to Open in New Adminsitrative Capital
The 300-key hotel will house outdoor and indoor pools, a 250 square metre health club, a 800 square metre spa, a business centre, and eight meeting rooms.
IHG Hotels and Resorts (IHG) is unveiling a new InterContinental hotel at the New Administrative Capital. Set to open in 2026, the hotel is one of nine hotels that IHG will open in Egypt in the next five years.
According to IHG, the hotel will be located in the centre of the city, near such landmarks as the Presidential Palace, the Government Square, and the Opera House. The 300-key hotel will house outdoor and indoor pools, a 250 square metre health club, a 800 square metre spa, a business centre, and eight meeting rooms.
IHG already has five hotels in Egypt, including Intercontinental Cairo Semiramis, Intercontinental Citystars Cairo, Holiday Inn Cairo Maadi, Holiday Inn Cairo Citystars and Staybridge Suites Cairo Citystars. Their upcoming hotel openings include the Crowne Plaza West Cairo Arkan in 6th of October City, which will start accepting reservations as soon as February 28th.
