London’s Biggest Screens Light Up With Egypt’s Winter Tourism Campaign
From London Tube stations to some of the city's biggest digital billboards, Egypt is making itself rather hard to miss.
Between the crush of rush hour and the all-too-familiar wait for a delayed Tube, commuting Londoners are being given something considerably more interesting to count down the minutes with: Egypt.
Across the metropolis’s digital billboards, streets and tube stations, the Nile-side nation's latest tourism campaign is making itself extremely hard to miss, with one decidedly eye-catching message: “Somewhere in Egypt...the ceiling still holds its colours after 2,000 years.”
Running for a month across the city’s screens and social media streams, the campaign carries the slogan “Egypt – Unmatched Diversity”, putting the country’s millennia-old monuments, sculpted sandstone valleys, and palm-fringed beaches in front of British travellers just as winter getaway plans start brewing.
And, as it turns out, Egypt has more than one way of getting London talking. The country is also stepping into the spotlight as Premier Partner at World Travel Market London 2026 (WTM), where the travel world's movers, shakers and serious holidaymakers are gathering under the same roof.
So, whether it's an Egyptian ceiling catching someone's eye between Tube stops, a campaign popping up mid-scroll or the country taking centre stage on the WTM floor, seems like London is having quite the Egyptian moment this month.
