New Multi-Year Visas Available to Travellers Into Egypt for USD 700

The Ministry of Tourism has announced a number of new visa guidelines, including a new 5-year visa that will soon be available to travellers entering Egypt for the first time for USD 700. The guidelines will also raise the number of nationalities eligible for a visa on arrival, including tourists from China and India.

The decisions are part of a nationwide strategy to boost tourism, which is set to raise the number of tourists in Egypt from 11.7 million in 2022 to 30 million by 2028.
