Leading the expansion, Saudi Arabia will see 18,743 new rooms, with major developments including hotels in Makkah and Medina, catering to religious tourism, as well as large-scale projects in Riyadh, Jeddah, and the Red Sea coast. Ambitious initiatives such as NEOM and Red Sea Global (RSG) are introducing resorts that blend futuristic design with the region’s natural beauty.
The UAE, already home to some of the world’s most luxurious stays, is adding 7,628 rooms, with Dubai leading the way. Whether it's high-rise hotels with skyline views or beachfront resorts, travellers will have even more choices in one of the world’s most popular destinations. Meanwhile, Qatar continues to expand its post-World Cup hospitality sector, adding 4,003 rooms, while Egypt, with 5,891 new rooms, is experiencing a surge in investment, particularly in Cairo and coastal areas along the Red Sea.
Across MENA, 104,572 rooms are currently under construction, with some destinations focusing on resorts and leisure travel, and others catering to business travellers with urban hotels designed for conferences and corporate stays.
