Qatar to Host International Food Festival This March at Lusail Bouleva
This culinary extravaganza is spicing up Doha with international cuisines, fireworks, workshops and family-friendly activities.
Serving everything from haute cuisine to street food bites, the Qatar International Food Festival is an annual celebration that brings together the most delicious dishes and flavours from around the world.The festival returns to Doha from March 11th to the 21st March at the newly-opened Lusail Boulevard.
The picturesque outdoor venues create a warm and sociable atmosphere for festival goers to tuck into mouth-watering meals of their choosing. Attendees can expect everything from local shawarma to Mexican tacos and Liberian rice bread, as well as a special opportunity to try a wide array of Qatari specialities such as machboos, luqaimat and karak tea.
Further spicing up this culinary extravaganza, participants will be treated to fireworks every night at 9 PM, roving performers, a dinner in the sky experience, a fancy afternoon tea with Harrods, a vegan section, a kids’ section including Kidzania, and an ice rink. A live cooking stage and ticketed workshops will also be available, while a Ramadan Bazaar will allow both visitors and locals to spend their evenings participating in family-friendly activities after breaking their fast.
For those looking to kick back and relax on another level, a VIP area will be open to everyone as well as an invite-only VIP lounge.
The festival runs from 2 PM to 11 PM daily. Tickets can be bought online from the Official Qatar Tourism Website.
