A Day at the Beach in Bali With Dior
Diorivera Beach Camps are popping up across the globe as part of the Maison’s summer celebration
Stepping into the ‘Dioriviera’ - the sun-kissed series of beach pop-ups glittering the globe by French maison Dior - is like entering into a rose-coloured fever dream.
With the launch of Dior’s first summer pop-up capsule in Mykonos in 2018, the Diorivera concept has captured the attention of fashionistas around the world, and this year from July 15th to September 10th, it brought Dioriviera 2023 to glamorous beach destinations across the globe – Saint-Tropez, Beverly Hills, Capri, Mykonos, Ibiza, Portofino, and Phuket to name a few. However, can any of the above locations compare to the unique charms of Bali?
For the second-year running, The Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay is hosting the island’s most celebrated luxury hideaway at its Sundara Beach Club. A visit to Bali’s Diorivera is like stepping into a life-size vision of the maison’s emblematic ‘Toile de Jouy Sauvage’.
The wild tigers, giraffes and serpents emblazoned on creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s fashion capsule are embodied in the midst of a fantastic jungle of life-size sand sculptures. The dusky pink print is everywhere: the billowing mezzanine shades, the day beds, cushions and umbrellas, and even the bar counter and DJ booth are visions of savage pink.
The resort’s Sundara Beach Club is transformed into an enchanted lifestyle escape combining haute couture shopping, fine dining, and heady Balinese nightlife for a captivating cocktail of summer decadence.
The Diorivera Summer Capsule is an immersive style experience against the backdrop of glittering sea views. The collection is a playful take on Dior classics; tenets of Dior style, namely opulence, femininity and innocence, are deftly paired with breezy ath-leisure references coloured in shades of pink, sable grey, and midnight blue.
