A Glimpse Inside the Newly Renovated Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental
The Abu Dhabi landmark is finally opening its doors once more this Friday, February 24th.
Abu Dhabi’s opulent Emirates Palace, a luxury five-star hotel that has stood as a landmark of the United Arab Emirates’ capital since its inauguration in 2005, is finally opening its doors this Friday, February 24th. While the hotel rose to fame under the Kempinski brand, it was handed over to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2020, where it was immediately closed to undergo extensive renovations.
The Mandarin Oriental Emirates Palace, sprawling over 1.3 kilometres of private beach, has been completely overhauled in order to create a lavish and sumptuous atmosphere, from the public spaces to the guest rooms.
One of the most striking features of the new Mandarin Oriental Emirates Palace is the lobby, which has been transformed into an oasis of tranquillity and elegance while retaining Arabesque touches that pay homage to the country’s heritage. The vaulted ceilings and ornate chandeliers enhance the hotel’s grandeur, while the stylish contemporary furnishings provide a modern charm to the classically beautiful space.
The hotel's 394 guest rooms and suites have also been given a makeover, with a palette of warm earthy tones and rich fabrics creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. The spacious bathrooms are a particular highlight, with gleaming marble surfaces, intricate mosaic work, and indulgent amenities. The newly-minted Mandarin Oriental palace boasts an array of world-class restaurants, eclectic bars, a wellness centre, and an exquisite spa.
You can now book your stay at the UAE landmark, with rooms starting from AED 2,200 to AED 28,000 per night.
