Emirates Offers Unlimited Free Date Changes on Flights to Dubai

Emirates has expanded its flexible booking policy for flights to Dubai, introducing unlimited free date changes across a wider range of Economy and Business fares.

The new policy applies to Economy Saver and Economy Flex tickets, as well as Business Special, Business Saver and Business Flex fares. Economy Flex Plus, Premium Economy, Business Flex Plus and First Class tickets will continue to offer full flexibility.

The airline has also reduced refund fees for Dubai-bound flights. Refund charges now stand at USD 50 for Economy Saver and Business Special and Business Saver fares, while Economy Flex and Business Flex tickets will incur a USD 25 fee.

Across the rest of its network, Emirates is offering one free date change on tickets booked from April 2nd, including itineraries connecting through Dubai. Customers can also hold a selected fare free of charge for 24 hours before completing their booking.

The airline has expanded its Comprehensive Travel Cover, which includes up to USD 25,000 in reimbursement for medical expenses arising from conflict-related situations, alongside trip cancellation, baggage delay and loss, unlimited worldwide medical expenses, emergency evacuation and a complimentary trip extension of up to 30 days. The cover is currently available in 27 countries.

Passengers affected by flight disruptions will continue to receive hotel accommodation where required. Emirates also said customers whose onward journeys are affected by disruptions, including airspace closures, may be rebooked on alternative services to their final destination at no additional cost.

The airline has also introduced new benefits for Emirates Skywards members, including a 20% reduction in the Tier Miles required to reach Silver, Gold and Platinum status, a 20% Tier Miles bonus on Emirates and flydubai flights, and an enhanced Cash+Miles redemption rate for selected travel services.
