Due to the increasing demand for flights from Abu Dhabi to Rome, Etihad Airways has responded by introducing new services to the Italian capital.
With the addition of two daily return flights between Abu Dhabi and Rome, Etihad has doubled its weekly frequency from 11 to twice a day, offering nearly 10,000 seats per week on this route. The Economy class round-trip fares for Abu Dhabi to Rome flights start at AED 880, while Business class prices begin at AED 15,450.
These new flights are scheduled to commence operations on November 1, 2024. Departing from Abu Dhabi, daily flights will take off at 2:25 AM and 2:40 PM, while departures from Rome are scheduled at 9:20 AM and 9:35 PM. The aircraft used for the flights may vary depending on the time of day, with options including the Boeing 777-300 or the Boeing 787-9.
Beyond Rome, Etihad Airways has its sights set on Frankfurt, the German financial capital, with plans to introduce an expanded flight schedule between the two cities later in the year.
