Fly High in Dahab This Weekend With ‘Winds of Sinai’

On the shores of the Red Sea’s crystalline waters and vibrant coral reefs lies an unwavering passion pond dedicated to kitesurfing enthusiasts. In true reclusive fashion, Dahab, the soul-healing hotspot of the country, harbours no cell service, and in turn lends itself favourable to life’s rawest experiences. Pushing for the dissipation of the disillusionment that hectic city life brings, Red Bull has come to this Red Sea destination to host the first edition of their ‘Winds of Sinai’ competition.

Amidst the crimson Sinai mountains lies Red Bull’s location of choice and with a soul-healing adventure amongst the Gulf of Aqaba’s windy (yes, old school howling winds) atmosphere. A celebration of the freedom the extreme sport provokes as well as its flourishing presence in Egypt, the event hosts twelve of the region’s best kitesurfers to demonstrate why Dahab is quite possibly the best place on Earth to practise their craft. Alongside this endeavour is an opportunity for those looking to - quite literally - expand their horizons.
