Saudi Arabia’s megaproject NEOM has announced a new nature wellness resort, Elanan, on the Gulf of Aqaba, as its latest hospitality development.
Designed by the American studio Mark Foster Gage Architects, Elanan Resort emerges within the oasis’s glittering dunes, mountains, and natural springs almost like a secret garden.
Featuring various hotel blocks with 80 rooms and suites, as well as villas, the resort also boasts shimmering gold observation towers, and a wide range of wellness facilities, including a natural spa. At the centre of the resort, there will also be two large swimming pools connected by a beautiful cascading waterfall.Subtly incorporating new technologies, Elanan’s architecture creates a harmonious synergy between its contemporary intricate sculptures and the surrounding natural beauty.
From lounging about its large plazas to indulging in one of the resort’s private dining restaurants or basking in the ample sun by the pool, NEOM’s Elanan promises travellers a rejuvenating, regal-like retreat.
