Explore the Hidden Himalayas With Wild Guanabana
Local adventuring company Wild Guanabana will take adventurers through the mountain villages in the shadow of Mount Everest starting May 8th.
Sitting at the base of Mount Everest is an awe-inspiring experience that often goes unnoticed by adventurers looking to conquer the world's highest peak. Few people know it as well as the folks ar Wild Guanabana, the local adventure travel company, who are organising an Everest Base Camp trip for Egyptian travellers on May 8th.
The trip begins with a scenic flight that lands at a town in the heart of the Himalayan mountain range. Travellers will then go on a trek through villages in the shadow of Mount Everest, passing through the Khumbu Valley and exploring Nepal’s ethnic mountain communities.
From Lukla, the route will go downhill towards the Dudh Koshi, also known as the Milky River, a raging body of water that flows from the glacier of the highest mountain. The trail is fairly easy and well-marked, taking hikers around rural fields of potatoes and wheat. During the 14-day itinerary, adventurers will trek through some of Nepal’s biggest attractions including Namche Bazaar, Syangboche, Thyangboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorak Shep, and Pheriche.
The trip runs for USD 2,280 per person, and includes accommodation, transportation, domestic flights, porters, permits, and guide fees. All international flights, visa fees, vaccinations, insurance, and gear rentals are not included in the price. For more information and to book, visit wildguanabana.com
Travellers who have not completed their COVID-19 vaccination may enter Nepal by obtaining a visa at Nepali consulates. On-arrival visas are not available. Arrivals who have not completed vaccination or are symptomatic must undergo on-arrival rapid antigen testing and quarantine for five days at a designated isolation facility.
